The ride started in Hyde Park, as usual in front of the impressive Achilles statue. The day was sunny and warm, and this probably motivated the 110 cyclists that came along to get on their bike and tackle some hills.
On Saturday you may have seen a large group of cyclists with pirate flags and striped tops. Do not wonder anymore, it was the IBikeLondon Nautical Ride! The ride, mostly traffic free, traversed 20 miles of beautiful London streetscapes, canals and docklands, ending at the iconic Brick Lane.
Before scoffing all your chocolate eggs in record time on Sunday, you may have joined our Ride East(er) on Saturday. The ride attracted 100 cyclists who met at 10.30am in front of the iconic St Paul’s Cathedral. After a quick introduction by John, our group leader, with his daughter on his shoulders, we jumped on our bikes and started cycling.
If you were near Hyde Park Corner on Saturday morning, then you may have seen around 100 cyclists gathered in front of the Achilles statue for our IBikeLondon Love2Ride.
